Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use Digitappe's website or place an order with us. By placing an order you agree to them, along with our Refund & Reprint Policy and Privacy Policy.

Using the site
“We” and “us” mean Digitappe, Inc., 1831 Flower St, Glendale, CA 91201. “You” means the person or business placing the order.
- Who can order
- You must be at least 18, or ordering for a business or organization you have authority to act for.
- Your account
- Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for orders placed through your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
- Accurate details
- Give us a correct name, email, and billing and shipping address. We send proofs, order updates and tracking to the email on the order.
- Fair use of the site
- Don't interfere with the site, try to access other customers' orders or files, or use automated tools to scrape prices or place orders.
Orders and pricing
- Custom products
- Everything we sell is printed to order from your files and your specs. It can't be restocked or resold, which is why completed orders can't be returned.
- When an order is accepted
- Placing an order is your offer to buy. We accept it when your payment goes through and we email your order confirmation.
- Orders we may decline
- We may decline or cancel an order and refund what you paid for it. For example:
- the files can't be printed as ordered
- a price or product listing was shown in error
- the content is unlawful, infringes someone's rights, or is something we choose not to print
- we suspect fraud
- Prices and quotes
- The price shown at checkout is the price of your order. Online prices can change before you order. A saved or custom quote holds its price until the expiry date shown on it.
- Sales tax
- Sales tax is calculated at checkout from your delivery or pickup address. If your organization is tax-exempt, contact us before you order.
- Spec changes
- Changing size, paper, quantity, page count or finishing after you order can change the price and the ready date. We confirm both with you before going ahead.
Your files and artwork
- You own your work
- Your files and artwork stay yours. You give us permission to store, process, proof, print and ship them only to fill your order and any reorders you ask for.
- Your promise to us
- You confirm that you own or have permission to print everything in your files, including text, photos, logos, fonts and trademarks, and that printing it breaks no law and no one else's rights.
- If someone makes a claim
- If a third party makes a claim against us because of the content you asked us to print, you agree to cover the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees.
- File checks
- Our preflight checks look at technical points such as size, bleed, resolution and page count. We don't proofread, fact-check or check spelling.
- Keep your originals
- Keep your own copy of every file you send. We store order files so you can reorder, and we are not a backup service.
- Showing your work
- We won't use your printed piece in our marketing unless you say yes.
Proof approval
Your proof approval is final. Approving an instant proof, or one from our team, confirms the content, layout and specs are correct, and tells us to print it exactly as shown.
- What to check
- Every page: spelling, names, numbers, dates, images, page order, size, and anything near the trim edge.
- What a proof shows
- An on-screen proof shows content, layout and trim. It is not an exact match for printed color, paper or finish.
- Preflight warnings
- If preflight flags low resolution, missing bleed or text near the trim and you approve anyway, we print the file as it is.
- After approval
- Errors that were in the approved proof are your responsibility. Errors we introduce after approval are ours.
- Sending files later
- If you order first and send files afterward, production and the ready-by date start once those files are received and approved.
Turnaround and delivery
- Ready-by dates
- Turnaround is counted in business days and starts once your files are approved for print. File fixes and proof changes pause the clock. The ready-by date at checkout assumes print-ready files.
- If we run late
- We work to hit every date. If we miss one because of our error, the Refund & Reprint Policy sets out what we do about it.
- Shipping
- We hand your order to the carrier you chose at checkout. Carrier delivery estimates come from the carrier and are outside our control once the package leaves our shop.
- Damage in transit
- If your order arrives damaged, report it under the Refund & Reprint Policy and we make it right.
- Addresses
- Check your shipping address before you pay. Reshipping to a corrected address, or after a package is refused or returned to us, is billed at cost.
- Local pickup
- Pickup is at 1831 Flower St, Glendale, CA 91201. We email you when the order is ready. Bring your order number.
- Color and finish
- Printed color varies slightly from screen to paper and from one run to the next. Trimming, folding and binding carry normal production variation.
Payment, cancellations and refunds
- Payment
- Orders are paid in full at checkout by card through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Custom quotes may ask for a deposit, with the balance due as stated on the quote.
- Accounts on terms
- Approved business accounts are invoiced, and pay by the due date on each invoice.
- Promo codes
- One code per order. Codes have no cash value and can't be applied after an order is placed.
- Cancellations and refunds
- The Refund & Reprint Policy is part of these terms. It covers cancellations, reprints, refunds and deposits.
- Chargebacks
- Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Most problems are solved faster directly, under the same policy.
Our responsibility to you
- What we stand behind
- We print your order to the specs you approved. If we get it wrong, your remedy is a reprint or a refund under the Refund & Reprint Policy.
- No other warranties
- Beyond that commitment, and as far as the law allows, the site and our products are provided without other warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
- Limit of liability
- As far as the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, missed events or deadlines, or the cost of buying elsewhere.
- Events outside our control
- We are not responsible for delays caused by things we can't reasonably control, such as carrier disruption, power or equipment failure, supply shortages, severe weather or natural disaster.
Legal details
- Governing law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
- Disputes
- Contact us first and give us 30 days to work it out. Any claim that isn't resolved will be brought in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, and both of us accept those courts.
- Our site content
- The Digitappe name, logo, site design, text, images and templates belong to us. You may use our print templates to prepare your own orders.
- Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms. The version posted when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
- If part doesn't apply
- If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
